It has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (frozen and paraffin), flow cytometry, and immunofluorescence applications.
The immunogen is a cell surface antigen.
Positive control: Glomerular endothelial cells, RHEC cell line
Negative control: Vascular smooth muscle cells, fibroblasts
Target Information
RECA-1 is a cell surface antigen expressed by all rat endothelial cells.
The endothelium forms an interface between circulating blood and vessel walls, lining the entire circulatory system from the heart to the smallest capillaries.
