Target Information
Galectin-3 is a galactose-specific lectin that binds IgE and mediates various cellular processes including endothelial cell migration, epithelial differentiation, and pre-mRNA splicing. It plays roles in acute inflammatory responses, neutrophil activation, monocyte chemoattraction, and mast cell activation.
