• In direct ELISAs, approximately 25% cross-reactivity with recombinant mouse (rm) ST2/IL-1 R4 is observed.
• Reconstitute at 0.2 mg/mL in sterile PBS.
• Endotoxin level is <0.10 EU per 1 µg of the antibody (LAL method).

Target Information

IL-33R (also known as ST2) is a receptor for IL-33 and a member of the IL-1 receptor family. Its extracellular domain includes three Ig-like domains that interact with co-receptor IL-1RAcP and ligand IL-33. IL-33 binding activates adaptor proteins MyD88, IRAK1, IRAK4, and TRAF6, leading to NF-κB and MAPK pathway activation and subsequent release of cytokines such as IL-5, IL-6, IL-8, and IL-13.
Two main isoforms exist due to alternative splicing: ST2L (membrane-bound) and ST2S (soluble). The soluble form may act as a decoy receptor to modulate IL-33 signaling. IL-33R is primarily expressed in mast cells, basophils, and eosinophils, and in mice, also on ILC2 and Th2 cells. IL-33R signaling is implicated in allergies, arthritis, atherosclerosis, and sepsis.
