- Detects endogenous TDE1 protein at approximately 53 kDa.
- Purity >95% by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
TDE1 (tumor differentially expressed protein 1), also known as serine incorporator 3, is a multi-pass membrane protein localized to the Golgi apparatus. It is highly expressed in neuronal populations and also found in thymus, kidney, liver, and testis.
Expression levels of TDE1 in tumors can be up to tenfold higher than in normal tissues, suggesting its involvement in oncogenic transformation.
TDE1 may protect cells from serum starvation and etoposide-induced apoptosis, potentially through aberrant methylation of TDE1 complexes.
