Product Specific Information

The 28-14-8 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse MHC class I, H-2D^b, and cross-reacts with H-2L^d, H-2D^q and/or H-2L^q. Binding to the alpha 3 domain of H-2L^d is not dependent on beta2-microglobulin.

Each product contains:

  • 1 vial of NovaFluor conjugate
  • 1 vial of CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer

Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis
Applications Tested: Tested on mouse splenocytes, ≤1 µg per test (100 µL final volume, 10^5–10^8 cells/test). Titrate for optimal performance.

Compatibility Notes:

  • NovaFluor dyes are not compatible with DNA intercalating viability dyes (e.g., propidium iodide, 7-AAD, DAPI).
  • Use Invitrogen LIVE/DEAD Fixable Dead Cell stains for viability assays.

CellBlox Plus Blocking Buffer (Cat. No. C001T06F01):

  • Enhanced formulation for optimal staining.
  • Add 5 µL per sample to antibody cocktails before mixing with cells.
  • For single-color controls: 5 µL per 100 µL cell sample (10^3–10^8 cells).

NovaFluor Technology:
NovaFluor conjugates utilize Phiton™ technology with engineered fluorescent signatures designed to minimize spectral spillover and spread.
Excitation: 639 nm; Emission: 710 nm; Laser: 633–640 nm (Red).
