For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer. After incubation with the primary antibody, slides were incubated with biotinylated secondary antibody, followed by alkaline phosphatase-streptavidin and chromogen.
Target Information
Members of the frizzled gene family encode 7-transmembrane domain proteins that act as receptors for Wnt signaling proteins.
The FZD9 gene is located within the Williams syndrome common deletion region of chromosome 7. Heterozygous deletion of FZD9 may contribute to the Williams syndrome phenotype.
FZD9 is expressed predominantly in brain, testis, eye, skeletal muscle, and kidney.
