- Percent identity with other species by BLAST analysis:
Human, Gorilla, Gibbon, Monkey (100%); Marmoset, Rabbit (95%); Hamster (85%); Bovine, Dog, Panda, Horse (80%) - For IHC(P), use heat-induced antigen retrieval in pH 6.0 citrate buffer.

Target Information
FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase that belongs to the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase family.
The receptor is activated by binding of the fms-related tyrosine kinase 3 ligand to the extracellular domain, inducing homodimer formation and autophosphorylation.
Activated FLT3 subsequently phosphorylates multiple cytoplasmic effector molecules involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow.
Mutations causing constitutive activation are associated with acute myeloid leukemia and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
