This antibody detects endogenous levels of EPHA2 only when phosphorylated at Tyr772.
Target Information
EPHA2 belongs to the ephrin receptor subfamily of the protein tyrosine kinase (TK) family. EPH and EPH-related receptors are involved in developmental processes, particularly in the nervous system. EPHA2 is overexpressed in various human cancers. The TK group regulates cell-cell interactions such as differentiation, adhesion, motility, and death. Approximately 90 TK genes are known, including 58 receptor TKs (e.g., EGFR, EPH, FGFR, PDGFR, TRK, VEGFR) and 32 cytosolic TKs (e.g., ABL, FAK, JAK, SRC).
