For maximum recovery, please spin prior to use.
Aliquots of 5 µg, 10 µg, and 20 µg sizes are not recommended; use materials in original packaging until exhausted.
For larger sizes, reduce freeze/thaw cycles by preparing aliquots (not below 20 µL).

Target Information

BMPR1A is a Type I member of the TGF-beta receptor superfamily of transmembrane serine/threonine kinases that phosphorylate intracellular SMADs in response to bone morphogenic proteins.
These receptors are closely related to activin receptors ACVR1 and ACVR2.
Ligands of these receptors belong to the TGF-beta superfamily.
TGF-betas and activins signal through heteromeric complexes composed of type I (50–55 kDa) and type II (70–80 kDa) receptors.
Type II receptors bind ligands independently but require type I receptors for signaling, whereas type I receptors require type II receptors for ligand binding.
