Target Information
IkB-alpha는 NF-κB 활성을 억제하는 40 kDa 단백질입니다. 이 억제는 세포질 내에서 IkB 단백질과 NF-κB 이합체 간의 단백질-단백질 상호작용을 통해 이루어지며, NF-κB의 핵 이동을 방지합니다. TNF-α, IL-1β, PMA, LPS, UV, 바이러스 감염 등 다양한 자극이 IkB-alpha의 분해를 유도하여 NF-κB를 활성화합니다.
NF-κB 활성화를 위해 IkB는 Ser32 및 Ser36 잔기에서 인산화되어 분해가 유도됩니다. IkB kinase alpha (IKKα)는 IkB-alpha를 인산화시키는 주요 효소로, TNF 및 IL-1 반응 시 NF-κB 활성화에 필수적입니다. IKK 복합체는 IKKα, IKKβ, IKKγ 세 가지 서브유닛으로 구성되어 있으며, 각각 IkB 인산화에 중요한 역할을 합니다.
