Target Information
YBX1는 pre-mRNA의 splice site에 결합하여 splice site 선택을 조절하며, 세포질 mRNA를 안정화하고 번역 조절에 관여합니다. 또한 Y-box 서열(5'-CTGATTGGCCAA-3')을 포함하는 프로모터에 결합하여 HLA class II 유전자 등 다양한 유전자의 전사를 조절합니다. DNA 이중가닥 내 불일치나 cisplatin에 의해 변형된 부위에 결합해 가닥 분리 및 절단을 유도할 수 있으며, DNA 수선 과정에 관여할 가능성이 있습니다.
