Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with Bovine, Pig, Cat, and Sheep.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits are cloned and expressed, and individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:
- High specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to the rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
Gene: CSNK2A1 (CK2 alpha-1)
Function: Serine/threonine protein kinase that phosphorylates acidic proteins.
Structure: Exists as a tetramer composed of one alpha, one alpha-prime, and two beta subunits. The alpha subunits contain the catalytic activity, and the beta subunits undergo autophosphorylation.
Location: CK2 alpha-1 is located on chromosome 20, with a related pseudogene on chromosome 11.
Transcripts: Three transcript variants encoding two different proteins have been identified.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
