Product Specific Information
This antibody binds to all four human IgG subtypes (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3 & IgG4). Some cross-reactivity with rabbit IgG, cynomolgus monkey IgG1, and rhesus macaque IgG1 has also been reported.
Target Information
Human IgG (human immunoglobulin G) is the most abundant antibody in human blood and plays a key role in immune defense against pathogens. It binds specific antigens and promotes their clearance via mechanisms such as phagocytosis and complement activation. IgG is also involved in antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and toxin neutralization. Human IgG is widely used in research to study immune responses and to develop diagnostic and therapeutic tools for infectious and autoimmune diseases.
