This antibody binds to all four human IgG subtypes (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3 & IgG4). Some cross-reactivity with rabbit IgG, cynomolgus monkey IgG1, and rhesus macaque IgG1 has also been reported.

Human IgG (human immunoglobulin G) is the most abundant antibody in human blood and plays a key role in immune defense against pathogens. It binds specific antigens and promotes their clearance via mechanisms such as phagocytosis and complement activation. IgG is also involved in antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity and toxin neutralization.
