This antibody recognizes FOXP4 (Forkhead box protein P4) and binds to a folded domain (amino acids 302–541).
FOXP4 acts as a transcriptional repressor involved in lung-specific gene expression regulation.

Target Information

The FOXP4 gene belongs to subfamily P of the forkhead box (FOX) transcription factor family.
Forkhead box transcription factors regulate tissue- and cell type-specific gene transcription during development and adulthood.
Members of the FOX family, including FOXP4, are implicated in mammalian oncogenesis and may play a role in the development of kidney and larynx tumors.
Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
