Goat anti-Human IgG (Fc) antibody recognizes human IgG (Fc). Assay by immunoelectrophoresis resulted in a single precipitin arc against anti-goat serum, human IgG, human IgG F(c), and human serum. This antibody does not recognize human IgG F(ab`)₂.

Target Information

Anti-Human secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for human immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of specific targets. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling various detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing a host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
