Product Specific Information
- Reconstitute with 1 mL of distilled water.
- After reconstitution, store undiluted at 4°C in the dark.

- For FACS analysis: use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µL.
- Mouse anti-dog CD34 antibody (clone 1H6) recognizes the canine homologue of CD34, a glycosylated type I transmembrane protein (~110 kDa) expressed on endothelial and hematopoietic stem cells.
Target Information
CD34 is a highly glycosylated monomeric surface protein (111–115 kDa) expressed on many stem cell populations. It functions as a stem cell marker and may regulate adhesion, differentiation, and proliferation of hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells. CD34 could act as an adhesion molecule mediating attachment of stem cells to the bone marrow extracellular matrix or stromal cells. It may also serve as a scaffold for lineage-specific glycans, facilitating binding to lectins expressed by marrow components. The intracellular domain is a phosphorylation site for protein kinase C, suggesting a role in signal transduction.
Diseases associated with CD34 dysfunction include dermatofibrosarcoma and neurofibroma.
