Target Information
NALP11 is a 1033 amino acid cytoplasmic protein belonging to the NLRP family, containing a DAPIN domain, six leucine-rich repeats (LRR), and a NACHT domain. It is implicated in inflammation processes and the activation of proinflammatory caspases such as CASP1 through inflammasome formation. The DAPIN domain is essential for suppression of NF-kappa B activation induced by TNF and for IL-1B secretion in collaboration with Caspase-1. It also interacts with PYCARD.
