• Reconstitute with 1 mL of distilled water.
• After reconstitution, store undiluted at 4°C in the dark.
• For FACS analysis, use 10 µL of the suggested working dilution to label 1×10⁶ cells in 100 µL.
• Mouse anti-human CD27, clone LT27, recognizes the human T-cell activation antigen CD27.

Target Information

CD27 is a 50 kDa member of the tumor necrosis factor (TNF) receptor superfamily, including CD40 and CD30. These receptors regulate cell proliferation and death. CD27 and its ligand CD70 are primarily expressed on lymphocytes. High CD27 expression depends on antigen receptor ligation, while CD70 expression requires co-stimulatory or pro-inflammatory signals. CD27 exists as a disulfide-linked homodimer on mature thymocytes, peripheral blood T cells, and a subset of B cells. Upon T-cell activation, CD27 expression increases, and a soluble form (sCD27, 28–32 kDa) is released into plasma, urine, or spinal fluid. Soluble CD27 serves as a prognostic marker in B-cell malignancies. RgpA, a cysteine proteinase, can degrade CD27 and counteract its activation pathway. CD27-binding protein SIVA is a proapoptotic factor involved in CD27-mediated apoptosis.
Diseases associated with CD27 dysfunction include Lymphoproliferative Syndrome 2 and Autosomal Recessive Lymphoproliferative Syndrome.
