Product Specific Information
MA1-801 detects TIF1 gamma in human, rat, and mouse cells.
This antibody has been successfully used in Western blot, immunoprecipitation, and immunofluorescence procedures.
By Western blot, it detects a 150 kDa protein and is specific for the gamma subunit of TIF1.
The immunogen used is recombinant human TIF gamma.
Target Information
TIF1 gamma is a member of the Transcriptional Intermediary Factor 1 family, acting as both coactivator and corepressor.
It shares structural similarity with TIF1 alpha and TIF1 beta, containing multiple domains such as RING finger, coiled coil, B boxes, PHD/TTC, and bromodomain.
TIF1 gamma plays a critical role in cell differentiation and development, particularly in hematopoietic cell differentiation.
