Target Information
RUVBL2는 단일가닥 DNA에 의해 자극되는 ATPase 및 ATP 의존적 DNA helicase (5'→3') 활성을 가지며, NuA4 histone acetyltransferase complex의 구성 요소로서 특정 유전자의 전사 활성화에 관여합니다. 이 복합체는 핵심적으로 히스톤 H4 및 H2A의 아세틸화를 통해 전사 조절 단백질과의 상호작용을 촉진합니다. 또한, DNA 손상 부위에 모집되어 DNA 수리에 직접적인 역할을 할 수 있습니다. RUVBL2는 MYC에 의해 매개되는 종양 형성 과정에서 필수적인 역할을 하며, LEF1/TCF1-CTNNB1 복합체에 의한 전사 활성화를 조절합니다. 또한 ATF2의 전사 활성 억제에도 관여할 수 있습니다.
