Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of Flt3 / CD135 only when phosphorylated at Tyr630.
Target Information
FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase belonging to the growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase family. Activation occurs via binding of the FLT3 ligand to the extracellular domain, inducing homodimer formation and receptor autophosphorylation. The activated receptor subsequently phosphorylates and activates multiple cytoplasmic effector molecules involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow. Mutations leading to constitutive activation of this receptor are associated with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).
