Product Specific Information
- 81% identical in mouse, 80% identical in rat. <30% identity with LRRK1.
- 10 µg/mL of MA5-45641 was sufficient for detection of LRRK2/Dardarin in 20 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody.

Target Information
LRRK2 (Leucine-rich repeat kinase 2) is a multidomain protein that includes a kinase domain, a GTPase domain, and a leucine-rich repeat (LRR) domain. Mutations in LRRK2 have been associated with Parkinson’s disease.
LRRK2 encodes a protein with ankyrin repeat, LRR, kinase, DFG-like motif, RAS, GTPase, MLK-like, and WD40 domains. The protein is mainly cytoplasmic but also associates with the mitochondrial outer membrane.
