- 83% identical in mouse and rat; no significant identity with LRRK1.
- 1 µg/mL of MA5-45645 detects LRRK2/Dardarin in 20 µg of rat brain lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as secondary antibody.
- Detects >200 kDa.

Target Information
LRRK2 (Leucine-rich repeat kinase 2) is a multidomain protein containing kinase, GTPase, and leucine-rich repeat domains. Mutations in LRRK2 are associated with Parkinson’s disease. The protein includes ankyrin repeat, LRR, kinase, DFG-like motif, RAS, GTPase, MLK-like, and WD40 domains. It is mainly cytoplasmic but also associates with the mitochondrial outer membrane.
