This FLEG monoclonal antibody recognizes human CD162 (P-selectin glycoprotein ligand-1, PSGL-1), a 120 kDa homodimer found on monocytes, neutrophils, granulocytes, T cells, B cells, and CD34+ hematopoietic progenitor cells.
CD162 mediates interactions with CD62P (P-selectin), CD62E (E-selectin), and CD62L (L-selectin), playing a key role in leukocyte adhesion and rolling. It also inhibits hematopoiesis through binding to P-selectin on HPCs and serves as a receptor for enterovirus 71.

Target Information

CD162 (PSGL-1) is a 120 kDa homodimer protein expressed on leukocytes and platelets. It binds CD62P (P-selectin), CD62L (L-selectin), and CD62E (E-selectin) to mediate leukocyte adhesion, rolling, and extravasation. CD162 serves as an immune marker of T cell exhaustion in chronic viral infection and cancer.
