Target Information
GSK3B (Glycogen Synthase Kinase 3 Beta) is a proline-directed serine/threonine protein kinase involved in energy metabolism, neuronal cell development, and body pattern formation. It acts as a negative regulator of glucose homeostasis and participates in pathways related to energy metabolism, inflammation, ER stress, mitochondrial dysfunction, and apoptosis.
GSK3B plays a critical role in the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway by mediating β-catenin degradation, thereby inhibiting Wnt signaling. It is also implicated in the Hedgehog, Notch, and insulin signaling pathways.
