Target Information

E2A와 조직 특이적 basic helix-loop-helix (bHLH) 이합체는 DNA의 E-box motif(5'-CANNTG-3')에 결합합니다.
이 단백질은 kappa immunoglobulin gene enhancer의 kappa-E2 site에 결합하며, E2A의 결실은 일부 pre-B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B-ALL) 사례에서 관찰되었습니다.
두 가지 대체 스플라이싱된 인간 isoform이 보고되어 있습니다.
