Target Information
Phosphoinositide-specific phospholipase C (PLC)는 인지질인 phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate로부터 inositol 1,4,5-triphosphate와 diacylglycerol을 생성하여 수용체 매개 신호전달을 개시하는 데 중요한 역할을 합니다.
PLC에는 다양한 이소효소(PLCβ1, β2, β3, β4, γ1, γ2, δ1, δ2, PLCε 등)가 존재합니다.
PLCδ1은 칼슘 신호 증폭기 역할을 하며, 비정형 GTP 결합 단백질에 의해 활성화됩니다. 또한 PLCδ1은 transglutaminase II 매개 옥시토신 수용체 및 α1B-adrenoreceptor 신호전달의 효과기입니다.
PLCδ1은 뇌, 심장, 폐, 고환에서 높게 발현되며, 알츠하이머병 환자의 뇌에서 비정상적으로 축적되어 병리적 역할을 할 가능성이 제기되었습니다.
PLCδ2는 위장관 상피세포 변형 및 선암에서 높게 발현되며, 위암의 악성 변화를 나타내는 잠재적 표지자로 고려됩니다.
