Target Information
EPHA8는 단백질 티로신 키나아제 패밀리의 ephrin 수용체 하위군에 속합니다. EPH 및 관련 수용체들은 특히 신경계 발달 과정에서의 세포 간 상호작용에 관여합니다. EPHA8은 포유류 신경계 발달 중 축삭 유도(axonal guidance)에 중요한 역할을 하며, EPH 수용체는 일반적으로 단일 키나아제 도메인과 Cys-rich 도메인, 2개의 fibronectin type III 반복을 포함하는 세포외 영역을 가집니다. Ephrin 수용체는 세포외 도메인 서열 유사성과 ephrin-A, ephrin-B 리간드 결합 친화성에 따라 두 그룹으로 구분됩니다.
