T세포 수용체(TCR) 매개 T세포 활성화에 필요한 공동자극 신호에도 관여합니다.
Caveolin-1은 DPP4와 결합하여 T세포 증식 및 NF-κB 활성화를 유도할 수 있습니다.
CAV1 유전자 변이는 선천성 전신성 지방이영양증 3형, 원발성 폐고혈압 3형, 부분성 지방이영양증/선천성 백내장 및 신경퇴행 증후군과 관련이 있습니다.
