Target Information

The 14-3-3 beta/zeta protein belongs to the 14-3-3 family, which mediates signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins.
This conserved family is found in plants and mammals. The encoded protein interacts with RAF1 and CDC25 phosphatases, linking mitogenic signaling and cell cycle regulation.
Two transcript variants encoding the same protein have been identified for this gene.
