Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening to select optimal clones for production.

Target Information
SUMO (Small Ubiquitin-like Modifier) proteins function similarly to ubiquitin but are involved in diverse cellular processes such as nuclear transport, transcriptional regulation, apoptosis, and protein stability. Unlike ubiquitin, SUMO modification does not target proteins for degradation. The protein becomes active after cleavage of its terminal amino acids. Multiple pseudogenes and splice variants have been identified for this gene.
