This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

Target Information
Tetranectin (TN) is a serum and tissue C-type lectin protein that binds to Ca++. It forms a homotrimer with monomers of approximately 20 kDa. Plasma or serum concentrations of TN are typically around 10 mg/L.
In vitro, TN can bind to kringle 4 of plasminogen and enhance the activation of plasminogen to plasmin, catalyzed by tissue plasminogen activator in the presence of poly-D-lysine. TN is also known as a prognostic marker in ovarian cancer.
