Product Specific Information

This MIH64 monoclonal antibody recognizes mouse VISTA (also known as B7-H5 or PD-H1).
It is suitable for flow cytometry using both native and paraformaldehyde-fixed cells.

• Recommended Usage: ≤0.5 µg per test (in 100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Target Information

VISTA (V-domain Ig containing suppressor of T-cell activation), also known as B7-H5 or PD-1H, is a product of the VSIR gene.
Although VISTA shares sequence homology with PD-L1, it has a distinct expression pattern.
In both mouse and human, VISTA is predominantly expressed on hematopoietic cells, especially myeloid cells, and at lower levels on T cells. It is typically absent on B cells.
VISTA expressed by antigen-presenting cells can directly suppress proliferation and cytokine production of CD4 and CD8 T cells, making it a potential target for cancer immunotherapy.
Reported ligands include CD28H, VSIG-3, and VSIG-8.
