For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Anaplastic Lymphoma Receptor Tyrosine Kinase (ALK) belongs to the insulin receptor superfamily and is essential for brain development.
Mutations, rearrangements, and amplifications in the ALK gene are associated with several tumors, including anaplastic large cell lymphoma, neuroblastoma, and non-small cell lung cancer.
The most frequent alteration is chromosomal rearrangement resulting in a fusion gene combining ALK (chromosome 2) and NPM (chromosome 5), producing an oncogenic NPM-ALK fusion protein.
ALK encodes a receptor protein-tyrosine kinase with transmembrane and extracellular domains, showing high sequence similarity to LTK.
It plays a critical role in neural development and function.
