Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They combine multiple recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing both the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency of recombinant production.
These antibodies recognize multiple epitope sites on the target, offering higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot is produced with a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, eliminating variability seen in polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information
Stem Cell Antigen-1 (Sca-1) is a member of the lymphocyte antigen 6 (Ly-6) family. It is expressed on multipotent hematopoietic stem cells (HSC) and serves as a marker for HSC in mice. Sca-1 is used alongside lineage depletion antibodies to identify murine HSC and is found in fetal liver, adult bone marrow, peripheral blood, and spleen. It may also play a role in B and T cell activation regulation.
