Target Information
KLF9 is a transcription factor belonging to the Sp1 C2H2-type zinc finger family. It binds to GC box elements in promoters, where single GC box binding inhibits mRNA expression, while tandem GC box binding activates transcription.
KLF9 regulates uterine endometrial cell proliferation, adhesion, and differentiation during pregnancy and tumorigenesis.
