Target Information
Cystic Fibrosis (CF)는 CFTR 유전자의 돌연변이에 의해 발생하는 치명적인 유전 질환으로, cAMP 조절 염화 이온 채널 기능 이상을 초래합니다. 전체 CF 사례의 약 70%는 508번째 위치의 페닐알라닌 결실(delta F508)을 공유하며, 이는 비정상적인 염화 이온 수송을 유발합니다. CF 돌연변이는 주로 폐 및 간 질환으로 인해 치명적이지만, 이 유전 질환이 흔한 이유 중 하나는 Salmonella typhi가 CFTR을 이용해 장 상피세포에 침입하고, delta F508 변이를 가진 생쥐에서 S. typhi의 장 점막하 흡수가 크게 감소한다는 점일 수 있습니다.
