This antibody detects endogenous levels of RIP3 only when phosphorylated at Ser304.
Target Information
RIPK3 is a serine/threonine protein kinase belonging to the receptor-interacting protein (RIP) family. It contains a unique C-terminal domain distinct from other RIP members and is mainly localized in the cytoplasm, often colocalized with mitochondria. RIPK3 participates in TNF receptor-I signaling, induces apoptosis, and weakly activates NF-κB. Caspase-8 prevents RIPK3-dependent necrosis by forming a proteolytically active complex with CFLAR, which is essential for its protective function.
