Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Tight junctions are cell-to-cell adhesion structures in epithelial or endothelial sheets that form continuous seals around cells, acting as physical barriers to solute and water passage through the paracellular space.
CLDN6 encodes a tight junction component belonging to the claudin family. This integral membrane protein serves as an entry cofactor for hepatitis C virus and may be implicated in esophageal tumorigenesis. The CLDN6 gene is located adjacent to CLDN9 on chromosome 16.
