Product Specific Information

Alexa Fluor™ Plus recombinant antibodies are conjugated using proprietary dye chemistry for enhanced brightness and superior signal-to-noise ratio. These antibodies offer improved specificity and lot-to-lot consistency due to recombinant production via gene cloning and in vitro expression.

Usage Note:
Before use, briefly centrifuge the conjugate solution and use only the supernatant to minimize protein aggregates and nonspecific background staining.

Applications Tested:
The CXNFT antibody has been validated in:

• Immunohistochemistry of mouse liver tissue
• Western blot
• Immunocytochemistry and flow cytometry of RAW 264.7 cells treated with LPS

Recommended concentration:

• ICC: 2 µg/mL
• Flow: ≤ 0.5 µg/test (100 µL final volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Target Information

iNOS (Inducible Nitric Oxide Synthase) produces nitric oxide (NO), a gaseous free radical mediating vasorelaxation, neurotransmission, and cytotoxicity. iNOS is inducible by lipopolysaccharide and cytokines, expressed in liver and multiple cell types including macrophages and hepatocytes.
NOS catalyzes L-arginine oxidation to L-citrulline and NO, with three isoforms: nNOS (type I), eNOS (type III), and iNOS (type II).
Cytokine stimulation increases iNOS mRNA and activity, leading to sustained NO production.
Dysfunction in iNOS is associated with diseases such as achalasia and impotence.
