The BV10A4H2 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD135 (Flk2/Flt3), a 135–150 kDa tyrosine kinase receptor expressed on multipotential progenitor cells including primitive B cell and myelomonocytic progenitors in fetal liver and adult bone marrow.

Target Information
FLT3 is a tyrosine protein kinase belonging to the growth factor receptor family. Upon ligand binding, it dimerizes and autophosphorylates, activating downstream pathways involved in apoptosis, proliferation, and differentiation of hematopoietic cells in bone marrow. Constitutive activation mutations are implicated in acute myeloid and lymphoblastic leukemia.
