Target Information
PKM2는 pyruvate kinase로서 phosphoenolpyruvate를 pyruvate와 ATP로부터 생성하는 반응을 촉매합니다.
PKM2는 thyroid hormone과 상호작용하여 세포 대사 효과를 매개할 수 있으며, Opa 단백질(임균의 외막 단백질)과 결합하여 인간 세포 침입에 관여할 가능성이 제시되었습니다.
PKM2 유전자는 세 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사체를 통해 두 가지 상이한 isoform을 생성합니다.
