Target Information
PKM2 (Pyruvate kinase M2 isoform)는 phosphoenolpyruvate를 pyruvate와 ATP로부터 생성하는 효소입니다. PKM2는 갑상선 호르몬과 상호작용하여 세포 대사 효과를 매개할 수 있으며, Opa 단백질(임균 부착 및 침입 관련 외막 단백질)과 결합하여 세균 병원성에 관여할 가능성이 제시되었습니다. 세 가지 대체 스플라이싱 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 두 가지 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
