Product Specific Information

The monoclonal rat IgG1 kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
This eBRG1 antibody is reported for use in flow cytometric analysis and has been tested on mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood cells. It should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 737 (BUV737) is a tandem dye emitting at 732 nm, designed for use with cytometers equipped with a 355 nm UV laser. Ensure instrument compatibility before use.

When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies (Super Bright, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), it is recommended to use:

• Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401)
• Brilliant Stain Buffer (Product # 00-4409)

These buffers minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.
Fixation: Samples can be stored in IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333) for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
Methanol Compatibility: Compatible with short-term methanol fixation; avoid storage in methanol-containing buffers for longer than one hour.

Target Information

Rat IgG1 is a subclass of immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies commonly used as a negative control in research applications. It does not bind to most mammalian antigens and is used in immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and western blotting. Rat IgG1 antibodies are produced in response to antigens and can be purified from serum or hybridoma culture supernatants.
