Product Specific Information

The monoclonal mouse IgG2b kappa is useful as an isotype control immunoglobulin.
Applications Reported: This eBMG2b antibody has been reported for use in flow cytometric analysis.
Applications Tested: Tested by flow cytometric analysis of mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood cells; use at the same concentration as experimental antibody.

Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 737 (BUV737) emits at 732 nm and is intended for use on cytometers equipped with a 355 nm ultraviolet laser. Ensure your instrument can detect this fluorochrome.

Staining Panel Recommendation:
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies (Super Bright™, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use:

• Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product # SB-4401)
• Brilliant Stain Buffer (Product # 00-4409)
  to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and stained samples from light to prevent photo-induced oxidation.

Fixation Guidance:
Samples can be stored in:

• IC Fixation Buffer (Product # 00-8222)
• 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product # 00-5333)
  for up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark with minimal impact on brightness and FRET efficiency.
  BUV737 is compatible with short-term methanol-based fixation but should not be stored in methanol-containing buffers for longer than one hour.
