Product Specific Information

The monoclonal mouse IgG1 kappa immunoglobulin is useful as an isotype control for flow cytometric analysis.
This P3.6.2.8.1 antibody has been tested on mouse splenocytes and normal human peripheral blood cells and should be used at the same concentration as the experimental antibody.

Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 737 (BUV737) is a tandem dye emitting at 732 nm, optimized for cytometers equipped with a 355 nm ultraviolet laser. Verify instrument compatibility before use.

When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies (Super Bright™, Brilliant Violet™, Brilliant Ultra Violet™), use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (SB-4401) or Brilliant Stain Buffer (00-4409) to minimize non-specific polymer interactions.

Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and stained samples from light.
Fixation: Samples may be stored up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark using IC Fixation Buffer (00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (00-5333).
Methanol Compatibility: Short-term methanol-based fixation is acceptable; avoid long-term methanol exposure (>1 hour).
Excitation / Emission / Laser: 355 nm / 732 nm / Ultraviolet Laser.

Target Information

Mouse IgG1 is a subtype of immunoglobulin G produced by B cells in response to antigens. It is the most abundant IgG subtype in serum and plays key roles in:

• Opsonization and complement activation
• Antibody-dependent cell-mediated cytotoxicity
• Regulation of immune responses including T cell activation and B cell inhibition

Widely used in research and diagnostics such as ELISA, Western blotting, and immunohistochemistry, and also in therapeutic applications like immunotherapy and vaccine development.
