Product Specific Information

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Advantages:

  • High specificity and sensitivity
  • Lot-to-lot consistency
  • Animal origin-free formulation
  • Broader immunoreactivity due to large rabbit immune repertoire

Target Information

Ataxia-telangiectasia Mutated (ATM) is a member of the PI3/PI4 kinase family. It is involved in DNA damage response and cell cycle regulation. The ATM gene encodes a protein that phosphorylates downstream targets such as P53, Mdm2, BRCA1, and SMC1, playing a crucial role in repairing double-stranded DNA breaks caused by ionizing radiation and other mutagens.

ATM activation leads to a kinase cascade regulating apoptosis and DNA damage repair. Defects in ATM are associated with hypersensitivity to ionizing radiation and impaired p53 induction, contributing to neurological degeneration and increased cancer risk.
