Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
GATA4 is a member of the GATA family of zinc-finger transcription factors. Members of this family recognize the GATA motif present in the promoters of many genes. This protein is believed to regulate genes involved in embryogenesis and myocardial differentiation and function. Mutations in the GATA4 gene have been associated with cardiac septal defects.
