Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

MAPK8 (JNK1) is activated by the presence of misfolded proteins in the endoplasmic reticulum. It is a crucial mediator of insulin resistance and obesity, belonging to the MAPK superfamily of stress-activated protein kinases.
MAPKs are serine-threonine protein kinases activated by various extracellular stimuli, mediating signal transduction from the cell surface to the nucleus.
JNK is involved in cellular processes such as proliferation, differentiation, transcription regulation, and development. JNK pathways are activated by stress and inflammatory signals.
JNK exists as ten isoforms due to differential mRNA splicing, with JNK1 and JNK2 being predominant forms.
