Product Specific Information
This antibody detects endogenous levels of MLK3 only when phosphorylated at Thr277 and Ser281.
Target Information
MAP3K11 (MLK3) is a serine/threonine kinase that activates both the p38 MAP kinase and c-Jun kinase pathways. It contains a SH3 domain and a leucine zipper-basic motif. MLK3 preferentially activates MAPK8/JNK kinase and functions as a positive regulator of JNK signaling. It can directly phosphorylate and activate IκB kinase α and β, and is involved in NF-κB transcriptional activity mediated by Rho family GTPases and CDC42.
